From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.

The Soldiers Table Revealed
The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the main group to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
With an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.
That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.
What Defines the Soldiers Table
As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.
Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.
The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each character has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:
- Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
- The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a hostile location.
- The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group access places they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:
- The rogue and The character are known criminals.
- Tyranny and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.
This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.
Upcoming Developments
Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Questers and Schemers parties.
Viewers can look forward to finding out which characters will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
